Want to learn more about the basics of beekeeping? Mike Dahlberg will lead a 30-minute workshop on the how-tos of beekeeping including what type of equipment you need, what to do with it, and when to start. For those not ready for their own hive, Mike will share alternate ideas on how to increase the pollinator population in your area. 

This is a hands-on workshop where people are encouraged to ask and invited to touch the hive and honey extraction equipment. The session will culminate with a honey extraction from recently pulled frames.
