Adult Beverage Garden and Live Music planned in Talleyrand Park at June 25th Friday in the ‘Fonte

Friday in the ‘Fonte, a free summertime event which aims to support Bellefonte’s shopping, dining, craft beverage producers and more will be held on the last Friday of the month in June, July and September. During June’s celebration, musician JT Thompson will be performing in the gazebo at Talleyrand Park. Music is sponsored by Blink and Bellefonte.com. Pick up takeout from your favorite downtown restaurant, and enjoy it while sipping on a craft beverage. New Bellefonte business Spring Creek Picnics will have a select number of spots set up that visitors can reserve early or the day of.

Enjoy a historic walking tour by Local Historia and participate in the Shop Small Crawl by purchasing a Bellefonte tote and collecting buttons while shopping at our local establishments.  Big Spring Spirits, Axemann Brewery, Nittany Catering, Keystone Cultures Co. / Mount NitaNee Kombucha, Federalist Studios Photography, Stella and Dot, Sunset Slush Happy Valley, Bees Knees Coffee and more will be popped up in the park.

Venture over to the “kids corner” where you can interact with therapeutic miniature ponies from Rising Hope, get your hair braided by a stylist from Portfolio A Salon and Full of Hot Air will be twisting balloon animals for the kiddos enjoyment! “Rock artists” are invited to express their own individuality with a positive message, designs, symbols and colors. Painted stones will be used to create a path as a metaphor of how our individuality and uniquenesses come together to create a beautiful community. Rock art supplies sponsored by Nature’s Cover and Bellefonte Art Museum. The miniature horses will be at the event from 5 – 7pm and from 6 – 7pm Capvara the Clown will be bringing the magic of the Brazilian circus! He combines juggling, physical comedy, classic clowning acts, and magic tricks for original family entertainment.

Jeff has opened concerts for the Badlees and The Guess Who. He also has been featured on recordings from the progressive rock group AudioJoe; trumpeter Mic Smith; and singer-songwriter John McNabb. Originally from York, Pennsylvania, Jeff also performs in the State College region with the jazz rock band Riff and in the Harrisburg area with drummer Dave Baboian. He also teaches at Robert M. Sides Family Music Center and CLC Charter School, and is an instructor at State College Rock Camp. Zeb Crews (drums, percussion, vocals) is quickly becoming a fixture on the State College music scene, performing at events Central PA Arts Fest and People’s Choice Festival, and at venues Cafe 210 and Webster’s Bookstore Cafe. Zeb teaches drums, percussion and rock band at CLC Charter School and is an instructor at State College Rock Camp. 6pm – 9pm Karaoke with Rick Rock from Qwik Rock.
