Hop around Downtown Bellefonte businesses to enjoy chocolate treats, activities, or for chances to win prizes
In collaboration with the Bellefonte Community Easter Egg Hunt, Bellefonte businesses are extending the festivities of the day with their very own Chocolate Walk. On Saturday, April 16, stop by participating businesses for special Easter chocolates, fun activities, raffles, and chances to win prizes.
There will also be business-sponsored activities set up at Talleyrand next to the egg hunt beginning at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, April 16th. The Easter Egg Hunt will begin at 2:00 p.m. Check below for business offerings and hours!
Chocolate Walk Participating Businesses:
State Burger Co., 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
101 S Allegheny St
State Burger Co. will be giving away Reese’s Peanut Butter Eggs to Chocolate Walk participants. They will also be offering a specialty shake this day – Death by Chocolate: double chocolate + brownies + chocolate syrup + chocolate sprinkles.
Bellefonte Art Museum, 12 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
133 N Allegheny St
The Bellefonte Art Museum will be handing out chocolate scented pencils for children or families who complete the museum’s scavenger hunt. Scavenger hunt participants will also be entered into a drawing where four lucky winners will win a Real Cooking Chocolate Pen. Winners will be notified on Monday April 18th.

Big Spring Spirits will be featuring a drink called the “Robin’s Egg Slush”. This is a spiked chocolate malted shake made with vodka, cream bourbon, cocoa, oatmilk, and chocolate malt. These are available in the tasting room or to-go for enjoying at home!

Centre Boot Company will be giving out chocolate cowboy boot/hat candy. They will also be having a Corral Brand Trunk Show/Special Offer – Buy one Corral Boot, Get a Second Corral Boot 1/2 Off!!

The Centre County Library will have chocolate treats and a fun coloring page for the event!

The Cocktail Lab, by Brandon Wagner, has hidden two eggs in the Downtown Bellefonte area. Each egg will have a certificate that entitles the winner and a guest to attend the Cocktail Lab class in the future.
The Magpie’s Nest, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Magpie’s Nest will be offering plastic eggs with chocolate candy in them and Chocolate Walk participants will be entered into a raffle to win a large Easter basket with chocolate and other products.

Tina Dee Photography & Design will be taking Easter Family Photos at Our Fair Lady Bed and Breakfast (rain or shine).
Plum Pristine Clean, 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Plum Pristine Clean will be handing out chocolates at their office – right across from Talleyrand Park. They will also have fun activities such as a raffle, a cut out egg arts and craft project, an Easter word search, and face painting!

Smith + Front will be offering snacks featuring Dark Chocolate Honey Cream – made in small batches in PA.

Tina Dee Photography will be set up in Talleyrand park at the Easter Egg Hunt with a photo booth for Easter egg hunters to take pictures for the perfect Instagram photo op!
