Join us for the Bellefonte Under the Lights: Winter Market

The Winter Market, first held in December 2018, is a European-style, open air market held during HBI’s Bellefonte Victorian Christmas.

This year’s event will be held in Talleyrand Park, near the gazebo, on December 12, 2021 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Bellefonte Under the Lights:  Winter Market will feature approximately 70 skilled makers and artisan vendors, as well as food vendors, craft beverage vendors, and more. Spend a night Under the Lights with us — heat up in the warming tent, enjoy a craft beverage while you shop, attend a storytime or do a craft with the kiddos. There's something for everyone at the Winter Market!

What to Expect

There's truly something for all ages at the 2021 Winter Market. Visit us from 4 to 8 p.m. to find:

  • A craft beverage lounge featuring Big Spring Spirits, Nomad Distilling, Hungry Run Wines, and The Central PA Tasting Trail. Warm up in the lounge, or take your beverage while you shop. Please note, alcoholic beverages can not leave the event area in the park.
  • Shopping at vendor booths by skilled makers and artisans from around Pennsylvania. You'll cross off gifts for everyone on your list!
  • Dine at a food truck visiting the event, or bring your food to-go from your favorite downtown Bellefonte restaurant.
  • Join Storybook Dreams for Storytelling in the train station at 4 p.m., 5 p.m., 6 p.m. and 7 p.m.
  • Kids crafts
  • Have your family photo taken! Sign up for holiday mini sessions: A holiday scene will be located adjacent to the train station. First come, first served!
  • Warm up inside the warming tent sponsored by Envinity, where you can also grab a cup of delicious hot cocoa!
  • You can also warm up at Bonfatto's or My Cafe Buzz, two businesses that neighbor the market. My Buzz will have heaters outdoors so you don't miss any of the action while enjoying a beverage or sweet treat.
  • Live music during the market will be performed by the Bellefonte Community Band from 4 to 5 p.m., and Anchor & Arrow from 5 to 7:30 p.m.

Stop by the gift wrapping table to take one more item off your checklist this busy holiday season. Bring your purchases from Victorian Christmas and the Winter Market to the Gift Wrapping Table, sponsored by Bellefonte Family Dentistry. Donations to Downtown Bellefonte Inc. are welcome at the table.
