Downtown Bellefonte celebrates Small Business Saturday each year on the Saturday after Thanksgiving!
Part of a national effort to support local shopping, Bellefonte's Small Business Saturday include live music, the popular Shop Small Crawl, special activities and discounts at participating downtown businesses, and more.
Small Business Saturday 2021 will be November 27! This year, we're excited to launch a community-wide gift card on Small Business Saturday. Every half hour between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., we'll announce the winner of a $30 #LoveBFT gift card — all you have to do is stop by our Small Business Saturday Welcome Table at the Centre County Courthouse. At 3 p.m., we'll announce the winner of a grand-prize $500 #LoveBFT gift card. Thanks to our sponsor, Arize Federal Credit Union, all transaction fees are waived on these gift cards.
Purchase your bag for the Shop Small Crawl, then collect pins from businesses to be entered in a second grand prize drawing of $500, sponsored by Universal Settlement Services, by December 19, 2021.

Join in on the Shop Small Crawl!
Downtown Bellefonte Inc.'s Shop Small Crawl is a fun way to encourage shoppers to check out some of the unique small businesses in our area and maybe find a new-to-you small business.
How does it work?
- Purchase a Shop Small Crawl Tote Bag for $12 at the Downtown Bellefonte Inc. Welcome Table on Small Business Saturday or at our booth at Belle Mercantile through December 19, 2021. Between November 27 and December 19, take your toe with you as you do your holiday shopping. When you make a stop at a participating business, tell them you're doing the Shop Small Crawl and you will receive a button with purchase.
- Collect as many buttons as you can, then email a photo of your tote with a minimum of 15 buttons to jennilyn@downtownbellefonteinc.com to be entered into the grand prize drawing.
- When you make purchase, tell the participating merchant you are doing the Shop Small Crawl and receive a button.
- Post a photo of your tote on social media using the #LoveBFT tag and gain one additional entry.
Winner will be announced December 20, 2021. (Update! Because of the bags selling out on Small Business Saturday, we’ve extended the entry deadline for the Crawl grand prize until December 31. Winners will be announced January 3, 2023.)
